They Blocked Me. Here’s Why That Proves the 5T Protocol Works
A Live Demonstration of the 5T Protocol For Information Warfare That Made Two Public Figures Retreat
The 2010 Version of the Film True Grit Opens With This:
“The wicked flee when none pursueth.”
— Proverbs 28:1
Whether you prefer the 1969 John Wayne original or the Coen Brothers’ 2010 remake, the message holds.
Mattie Ross, a teenage girl, loses her father to murder.
The killer flees.
No one pursues.
No one helps.
Yet Mattie doesn’t back down.
She persuades a half-broken U.S. Marshal named Rooster Cogburn to ride with her into wild country to bring the killer to justice.
She doesn’t wait for permission.
She doesn’t beg for support.
She acts.
This article wasn’t planned.
It emerged as an opportunity to continue teaching The 5T Protocol.
It serves as a field update to the article I published on May 7:
What’s unfolded since is a live confirmation of the very thing that framework was built to detect.
What Just Happened and Why It Matters
Two public figures, Julie M. Green and Dr. Emily King, PhD., blocked me on Substack.
Ostensibly, they blocked me because I held their publicly published words up to professional scrutiny, through the lens of the 5T Protocol.
My intent then remains the intent now:
To teach readers and professionals a way to see clearly, by using real-world examples, how tone, targeting, tropes, and tactics function in live information warfare environments.
This wasn’t personal.
There were no insults.
No campaigns.
No harassment.
The only thing that happened was this: the words they wrote were evaluated.
They chose those words.
They chose to publish them.
And all I did was analyze them, openly, clearly, without distortion.
And then they blocked me.
They weren’t pursued.
They weren’t provoked.
They were held up to a mirror.
And they ran.
That’s where we are now, left only with inference.
Because when individuals exit the field without engaging, when they retreat after their own strategic decisions are examined, all we can do is read the patterns.
We don’t speculate on internal motives.
Rather, we observe behavioral signals.
And the signal here is clear:
No one pursued them.
And yet they fled anyway.
When the 5T Protocol Exposes Decisions
If you’ve been applying the 5T Protocol for Information Warfare, this is what it looks like in action, not theory.
Julie and Dr. Emily made decisions.
They chose the terrain.
They selected their targets.
They crafted their tone.
They embedded their tropes.
They deployed their tactics.
None of it was accidental.
All of it was intentional.
The 5T Protocol didn’t provoke them.
It revealed what they had already set in motion by their decisions and actions.
And here’s what you saw:
TERRAIN: They operated within institutional comfort zones, echo chambers and platforms that reward moral framing and discourage scrutiny.
TARGETING: They aimed downward at mothers speaking plainly, without protection or polish.
TONE: They masked dominance in empathy, lacing care with condescension.
TROPE: They hid behind slogans and professional credentials to preempt dissent.
TACTICS: They worked to isolate, delegitimize, and shame.
This was not misunderstanding.
This was a strategy.
And when their pattern was made visible, cleanly, publicly, without malice, they fled.
Not because they were attacked.
Because they were seen.
That’s not a collapse.
That’s a confirmation.
The 5T Protocol held.
Who Were Their Targets? Mothers With True Grit
Let’s focus on the most important 5T Protocol axis: Target.
Julie and Dr. Emily didn’t critique decaying, bureaucratic, legacy systems.
They didn’t interrogate any Guardians of Decay.
They didn’t investigate institutional neglect.
They targeted mothers.
Not in theory, but in practice.
Not abstractly, but directly.
Mothers advocating for their profoundly disabled, often nonspeaking children.
Mothers who push back against the system for their children.
Mothers who ask hard questions.
Mothers who won’t sit down.
Did Julie and/or Dr. Emily ever speak with these mothers?
Did they try to understand them?
Since they fled, we will not know and are left to infer.
Do their patterns suggest they wanted to signal system fealty in an echo chamber through soft-shaming and credentialed posturing against their targets?
And what about their targets?
Are these mothers the Mattie Rosses in their fight?
And the Guardians of Decay can’t abide them?
Why These Patterns Matter
As I said in the May 7 piece: the point of the 5T Protocol is not personal judgment.
It’s professional clarity as you operate in the information war.
You don’t need to know who someone is.
You only need to observe what they decide to do.
Does Julie hide behind tone?
Does Dr. Emily hide behind credentials?
Do they both hide behind their confidence in a system that believes itself beyond intellectual scrutiny?
They didn’t block me because of confrontation.
They blocked because someone held up them up to a mirror.
That’s what Guardians of Decay do when they’re unmasked.
They don’t fight.
They retreat into fog.
They think their degrees or clout insulate them from being questioned.
And in an open environment, clarity is their kryptonite.
Systems Drive Behavior
Let there be no ambiguity.
I’m not calling anyone wicked.
That’s not my place.
What I am doing and teaching is how to observe patterns of behavior.
Systems drive behavior.
Julie and Dr. Emily may not realize it, but their patterns, what they decided to write, who they decided to target, how they decided to react, tell us everything we need to know.
Their observed behavior aligns with the system they serve.
That system doesn’t welcome intellectual scrutiny.
It punishes dissent.
And it relies on public-facing figures to suppress the voices it doesn’t want to hear.
Whether they know it or not, they’re protecting a system that is decaying.
And when a decaying system feels threatened, it targets dissenters; deploying tone, trope, and tactics to neutralize the threat.
That’s what we saw.
And their reaction confirms it.
You Have the Mirror Now
The 5T Protocol is not about calling people out.
It’s about seeing clearly, even when clarity is costly.
So if you ever feel targeted…
If someone lashes out, not up, but sideways or down…
If something in the narrative feels off…
If something’s being hidden:
Use what you now know.
Don’t engage emotionally.
Don’t escalate.
Don’t run.
Just hold up the mirror.
Let the patterns speak for themselves.
And observe what happens next.
Because in the information war, seeing is everything.
True Grit and the Bold Without Dread
Mattie Ross didn’t hunt for glory.
She hunted for justice.
She acted when no one else would.
The mothers Julie and Dr. Emily targeted?
They’re not influencers.
They’re not public intellectuals.
They’re not career activists.
They’re mothers with clarity.
Mothers with true grit.
Mothers who keep showing up.
They are still standing.
Still advocating.
Still speaking.
They are the bold.
And they are without dread.
This Is Why I Teach the 5T Protocol
This wasn’t a planned essay.
It was a strategic update, and another opportunity to teach.
I shared a framework.
Then the field immediately confirmed why you need it.
The 5T Protocol was built to help you see.
Now you have it.
Now you’ve seen it work.
No one’s chasing anyone.
But the mirror is up.
And now you’ve seen the patterns.
